To the PGF package announced early September Autonomia, the
National PGF partner in Hungary, has received 47 applications. The requirement
was that the settlements interested in the package (that consist of training,
study tours, small grant programme and project development to EU funds, plus
international study tour) had to delegate roma activist and a person from the

We have launched the new phase of our program "MAKING THE MOST OF EU FUNDING FOR
THE ROMA (MtM)". Our colleagues go to the country to search for the
potential candidate, advertise the program. András Nun program
officer, Autonómia Foundation introduced the program to the staff of Esély
(Chance) Roma Methodological Center, the presidents of the Roma Minority

A book was published to introduce the three years' operation of the NGO Fund of
the EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanism in Hungary. It comprises the results
of a sociological survey based on the feedback of the participants, and 21

Our
senior expert György Lukács participated in the Community
Development International Conference between 6-8 July in Lisbon. He
made a presentation in the framework of the Community leadership and
representation panel on the lessons learnt through our micdrocredit programs
about the financial conditions and needs of the Hungarian Roma.

Our senior expert György Lukács
participated in the XVIth
International Summer
University in Kőszeg
in July 4th. The title of his presentation about the activity of the foundation
within the workshop on diversity managament within the EU was ’Learning by
doing’ (changin lifestyle and consumption). He discussed roma related adult
education, financial education programs .

has launched a development policy workshop series within the framework of MAKING
THE MOST OF EU FUNDING FOR THE ROMA (MtM) program financed by OSI. It’s
aim is to elaborate concrete professional suggestions and to share them with
the decision makers and the public. The studies made within the framework of
the series and the summaries of the workshops are to be published also on our
website.

Though the
toxic red sludge catastrophe did not hit the premises of the famous Devecser
second hand market, several families were hit severley, their houses were taken
by the flood. By the beginning of 2011 their situation was getting close to
normal. By now the website of the market is ready with the help of OSI,
