Autonómia’s objective
Autonómia is an independent private foundation established in 1990. Its objective is to help the development of civil society in Hungary by supporting independent local initiatives. In the course of its operation it has financed the projects of over one thousand non-governmental organizations. Its activity is focused on three areas: poverty and ethnicity (subsistence projects predominantly), environmentally sustainable development and civil society.
